Pakistan Salary Tax Calculator 2026-27

Find your monthly income tax and take-home salary under the 2026-27 slabs.

What this calculates

Enter your taxable salary, per month or per year, and the calculator shows your income tax, your take-home pay and your average tax rate. It uses the salaried-individual slabs of the Finance Act 2026, which apply from 1 July 2026 (Tax Year 2027), and can also show the 2025-26 slabs for comparison.

Slabs for 2026-27

The 9% surcharge on salaried incomes above Rs 10 million has been abolished from 2026-27. In 2025-26 it still applied.

Example

A taxable salary of Rs 200,000 a month is Rs 2.4 million a year. The tax is Rs 116,000 plus 20% of Rs 200,000, which is Rs 156,000 a year, or Rs 13,000 a month. Under the 2025-26 slabs the same salary paid Rs 162,000 a year.

What is not included

Exempt allowances, tax credits (for example for teachers or pension contributions), Zakat and EOBI deductions, bonuses taxed at a different rate, and income from other sources. Your employer’s payroll may therefore differ a little. Check with FBR or your employer.

Frequently asked questions

Is my whole salary taxed?

No. Tax is charged in slices, so only the part of your salary inside each slab is taxed at that slab's rate.

Should I enter my gross salary?

Enter the salary that is taxable. If part of your pay is an exempt allowance, leave it out. If you are unsure, ask your employer's payroll team.
