Working with durations
Adding times by hand is awkward because 60 seconds make a minute and 60 minutes make an hour. This calculator converts each duration to seconds, does the sum, and converts the answer back into days, hours, minutes and seconds.
Example
1 day 5 hours 30 minutes plus 3 hours 45 minutes 20 seconds is 1 day 9 hours 15 minutes 20 seconds. Subtracting the second from the first gives 1 day 1 hour 44 minutes 40 seconds.
